OUR ACADEMY RULES

The Rules Are As Follows

1. STUDENTS SHALL ARRIVE AT SCHOOL ON TIME
2. STUDENTS MUST DO ALL ASSIGNMENTS (practical/clinical) ASSIGNED TO THEM
3. STUDENTS MUST REMAIN IN ASSIGNED AREA UNLESS INSTRUCTED OTHERWISE
4. NO HORSEPLAY, PROFANITY, SEXUAL JESTERS, FIGHTING AND GOSSIPING
5. ONLY THE INSTRUCTOR CAN ALLOW SERVICES TO BE PERFORMED ON STUDENTS (get permission first)
6. STUDENTS SHALL PAY ALL TUITION AND FEES THAT ARE AGREED (students who do not keep fees current will be unable to return until tuition & fees are current)
7. STUDENTS CAN ONLY SMOKE IN DESIGNATED AREAS
8. STUDENTS SHALL SHOW RESPECT TO INSTRUCTOR AND PATRONS AT ALL TIMES, AND CONDUCT YOURSELF AS A PROFESSIONAL AT ALL TIMES
   

Student Absence

• Students should call the college as soon as possible and speak with the director or leave a detailed voice message with date,time and reason for absence.

• Each student is allowed to be absent up to 5 days with a written notice during the 9 month course;i.e.; doctor's excuse, for self immediate family member, death in family( obituary listing).
  

• Students may be absent up to three days, unexcused.
  

• The college will be open regardless of inclement weather. However students must use their own judgment in attempting to come to college in inclement weather.

• *All student must complete at least 20 hours in a week or there will be a charge of $25.00 if complete under 20 hours that week. 
  

Student Uniforms

THE BARBER ACADEMY requires that a standard uniform be worn at all times while on campus as follows:

a. (1) Press Smock

b. (1) Casual or Dress Black Khaki pants

c. (1) Press Dress white shirt

d. (1) Dress tie

e. (1) casual or dress shoe or all white or black sneaker

This dress code should be followed at all times and no exceptions and if a student doesn't have white shirt or tie there will be one provided daily for them to use and then returned at the end of day.

All SHIRTS WILL HAVE THE BARBER ACADEMY LOGO

STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN COMFORTABLE, CASUAL, ALL WHITE SNEAKERS OR WORK SHOES (NO HIGH HEELS OR SANDALS)

EACH STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE THEIR OWN PANTS

 .   BLUE JEANS (BLUE OR BLACK) no rips, faded, designs or drawings

KHAKIS (BLUE, BLACK AND BEIGE)

ALL PANTS MUST BE PRESSED AND WRINKLED FREE!!!!!!!

SMOCKS ARE TO BE WORN AT ALL TIME DURING CLINIC HOURS. (No exceptions)*

SMOCKS SHOULD BE LAUNDERED AND PRESSED AS NEEDED.

DURING BREAKS, SMOCKS SHOULD BE PLACED ON THE BACKS OF THE CHAIRS.
